Carissime lettrici oggi ,dopo un periodo di assenza per la ricerca di nuovi contenuti da presentarvi , ho deciso di redigere un’ articolo inerente a un’ artista con la quale sono entrato in contatto tramite instagram anche se precedentemente avevo adocchiato qualche suo lavoro sulla piattaforma pinterest .
Innamorato del suo stile minimal ma così espressivo ho deciso di provare a contattarla per capire il lavoro e il pensiero che si cela dietro alle sue opere.
Dear readers today I decided to write an article regarding an artist with I get in touch through Instagram even I had seen some of her works on Pinterest , in love with her minimal but so expressive style I decided to contact her to understand her works and the thought that is concealed behind her pieces.
Oggi protagonista è Shira Barzilay in arte Koketit ( nello slang francese significa ragazza alla moda), artista israeliana che vede la propria formazione sviluppata nel settore dell’ illustrazione moda , un’artista che vi stupirà per la propria profondità e bellezza .
Today we talk about Shira Bazilay aka Koketit ( that means fashionable girl in french slang) Israeli artist that has a background in Fashion Illustration, an artist that will surprise you for her profundity and beauty.

Dopo aver conseguito una laurea in fashion design decide di mettersi in proprio lavorando come freelance per diversi brand e inoltre inizia a creare alcuni prodotti come tattoo temporanei .
After she had gotten her bachelor’s degree in fashion design she decided to start an own business like freelance for different brand , creating some different products likes temporary tatoos and illustrated plates.
Pian piano si approccia al mondo del web, inizialmente tramite un blog , per poi approdare su Instagram dove inizia a creare contenuti , mettendosi continuamente in gioco e riuscendo così a perfezionarsi sempre di più e a trovare la propria vena artistica .
Gradually she approched to the web world, at the beginnig with a blog than on Instagram when she started to create some contents ,she get involved constantly and thanks to that she became able to perfection herself more and more and also she found her true artistic voice.

Shira via mail mi spiega come la sua arte rifletta la propria istintività, con queste linee veloci e frenetiche che non lasciano alcuno spazio al pensiero ma che allo stesso tempo riescono a racchiudere e ad esprimere al meglio i sentimenti che in quel momento sta provando .
Shira via mail claryfies how her art reflecting her instinctivity , with these fast and furious lines that don’t leave any space to thought but that at the same time they are able to include and exhibit feelings that she is feeling at that time.
Ciò che fa nascere l’opera é primariamente il contesto in cui viene presentata , Shira trova una foto di un volto interessante o di un capo di abbigliamento e sente subito l’ esigenza di tracciarvi delle linee sopra come se essa rappresentasse una tela bianca che necessita di essere riempita, arricchita e in questo modo ciò che si verifica è la presentazione di una storia, perchè in fondo in questo modo riesce a far interagire la fotografia e l arte con lo spettatore , rendendo quest’ultime profondamente vive , espressive ,dinamiche
It is the context that gives rise to the work , Shira finds a photo of an interesting face or a clothing piece and she fells the need to trace lines over it like it rapresented a blank canavas that needs to be fill up ,enhanced and in this way she creates a story, because after all in this way she makes possibile the interection between the photo and the art , making them outstandings and dinamics, with the audience.

E questo è ben visibile almeno per me , in quanto appunto pur essendo delle semplici linee risultano essere profondamente trasportanti, magnetiche, significative e incisive ,è un tipo di arte che colpisce l’individuo,lo incanta e lo stupisce ,lo ammalia e porta a galla sensazioni,pensieri,ricordi …
This , in my opinion , is easy to see, because only beeing simple lines seem deeply surrenders ,magnetics,significants and incisives, it is a kind of art that moves the person ,it fascinated him,it charmed him and it turns up sensations,thoughts,memories…
L’artista infatti con la sua arte vuole mostrare l’invisibile , ciò che essenzialmente non è tangibile ,e pertanto punta a una connessione a livello intuitivo con il proprio pubblico mostrando che la conoscenza e la comprensione di ciò che si sta vedendo avviene nello stesso momento in cui si compie l’esperienza senza alcuna necessità di fermarsi e pensare , ma semplicemente si vede e si conosce .
Questo essenzialmente perchè ci sarà sempre una prospettiva diversa, un altro lato , un’ altra storia che risulta essere una nostra scelta , un qualcosa che istintivamente noi riusciamo a cogliere perchè scatta un qualcosa all’interno di noi.

The artist with her art wants to reveal the unseen, what is basically not tangible, so she aspires to connect on an intituitive level with her audience showing that the knowledge and comprehension of what I am seeing happens at the same moment when I make this experience without the necessity to stop and think about that , but simply I see and I know.
Basically because there will be always another perspective, another side,story, something that instictively we catch because it happens something inside us.
Ciò quindi permette di avviare un’ introspezione, un’ analisi intrinseca di ciò che ci circonda ma anche della nostra esistenza in quanto ci permette di cogliere lati e prospettive primariamente irraggiungibili ma che poi si rivelano quei lati più profondi e misteriosi di noi stessi , quindi in qualche modo quest’arte ha un lato terapeutico , l’opera diviene strumento di comunicazione ed espressione.

So this allows us to launch an introspection, an intrinsic analysis about what surrounds us but also about our life because it allows us to capture sides and perspectives that at the beginning were out of our reach .
Then we find that these can help us to understand our most deeply and misterious sides of ourselves, so in some way this art has a terapeutic side, the works become the instrument of communication and expression.
Tutto ciò che produce nasce principalmente nel proprio studio in Israele ma Shira riflette su come ad ispirarla siano principalmente i viaggi , come l’ultimo che l’ha condotta in Spagna dove ha avuto il piacere di visitare il museo di Picasso che è risultato esserle un ottimo stimolo creativo, in effetti la sua arte ricorda in qualche modo il lato più estroso del pittore .
Everything that she creates , bears in her studio in Israel but Shira reflects about how inspiring are the trips that she makes , like the last in Spain where she had the pleasure to visit the Picasso museum, that was really inspiring , infact her art remembers the most brilliant side of the painter.

Vanta numerose collaborazioni con brand internazionali e numerosi progetti ,l’ultimo riguarda la capsule realizzata con Suncoo Paris brand particolarmente da lei apprezzato, ma Shira sottolinea come una collaborazione con un brand non sia facile in quanto è necessario instaurare un rapporto di piena fiducia dovendo dare loro le proprie opere da convertire in prodotti e contenuti ottimi che riescano a riflettere a pieno sia l’aesthetic del brand ma sopratutto l’attitudine e l’essenza dell’artista .
She has many collaborations with international brands and different projects, the last is about a capsule collection made with Suncoo Paris a brand really appreciated by her but Shira remarks the fact that a collaboration with a brand is not easy because is necessary to create a connection and you need to trust them to put your art in product that you will be proud of ,because they have to represent the brand aesthetic but mostly the essence of the artist.
Con Suncoo tutte queste condizioni sono state rispettate ,dando luogo a una capsule d’effetto dalla t shirt al porta-passaporto … che io ritengo possiedano un qualcosa dal gusto profondamente esclusivo ed elegante .
With Suncoo all the condictions have been respected , making possible a brilliant capsule that shows an exclusive and elegant taste.
Ora è in contatto con altri brand inerenti il settore moda , vista la propria formazione ma naturalmente perchè molti sono i contenuti su Instagram che vedono blazer,abiti ,borse .. scarpe che risultano perfettamente arricchite dalle linee che danno luogo a forme di qualsiasi genere perchè ricordate moda e arte sono sempre un ottimo connubio e in questo caso potrebbero dare frutto a veri e propri capi must-have che tutti vorremmo avere nei nostri armadi.
Now she is in touch with other brand for some collaboration that regard clothing , seen the background but naturally because on her Instagram page we can see blazer,dresses,bags,,shoes that seem perfectually improved from the lines that creates differents shapes because you should always remember that art and fashion are always a great union and in this case we could see some great must-have pieces that everyone would like to have.
