Carissime lettrici , dopo un lungo periodo di pausa per varie problematiche ho deciso di redigere un nuovo articolo riguardante questa volta non un brand ma un artista con il quale sono entrato in contatto tramite instagram : Sam Theis in arte DamnsamCreative , originario del Texas ma traferitosi a New York dove odiernamente realizza installazioni artistiche per Bergdorf Goodman.
Dears readers, after a long period without writing anything for some problems, I decided to write a new article about an artist that I get in touch trough instagram:Sam Theis alias Damnsamcreative, he comes from Texas but he moved to New York where now he creates some artistic installations for Bergdorf Goodman.
Tutte voi credo che almeno una volta abbiate ammirato tali spettacolari vetrine tramite social ma soprattutto in alcuni film e serie tv sulla moda , qui Carrie Bradshaw e le sue amiche passavano momenti di shopping sfrenato come anche Serena e Blair ( Gossip girl) , in quanto fulcro delle moda newyorkese e idolatrato da migliaia di fashion addicted , per New York infatti Bergdorf è un’ istituzione come Harrods lo è a Londra.
I think that everyone know about what I’ m talking about, you could now them thanks to some photo on social media but absolutely thanks some films and tv series about fashion and not , there Carrie Bradshaw and her friend make shopping but also Serena and Blair( Gossip Girl) because this place could be considered the New York’s fashion’s centre .
It is idolized by thousand of fashion addicted ,for the city of New York ,infact, Bergdorf Goodman is an institution likes Harrods is for London.
Durante la sua formazione come artista Sam si è interessato a qualsiasi genere di arte ma in generale è il contesto lavorativo ad ispirarlo , ama installazioni particolareggiate al fine di ottenere l’attenzione dell’osservatore che meticolosamente scannerizza la composizione per analizzare e comprendere anche il più piccolo dettaglio.
During is formation likes artist Sam was interested in different art forms but usually he gets inspired by where is working, what is around him .
He loves installation that are extremely busy because he likes to obtein the viewer’s attention that meticulously observe the composition to analyse and understand also the most little detail.
Ha deciso di impiegare la sua arte ,la sua passione nel suo lavoro ovvero la preparazione e la creazione di spettacolari installazioni per le vetrine di alcuni fra i pù importanti negozi di New York , anche se la sua carriera lavorativa in tale ambito ha origine in Texas dove lavorava da Neiman Marcus e dove ottenne poi un colloquio con David Hoey, il responsabile delle vetrine di Bergdorf (dal 2016 svolge tale mansione).
He decided to employ his art, his passion in his work or rather preparation and creation of the spectaculary installations for the windows of some of the most importants New york’s shops , even his career in that field started in Texas where he worked to Neimam Marcus and where he often the interview what David Hoey, the director of the Bergdorf’s windows ( since 2016 he conduct this job).
A seconda della complessità e del tema ,le opere possono essere realizzate e progettate da un giorno fino a 3 settimane nel caso del periodo delle festività natalizie .

A seconda dei periodi si hanno diversi temi da trend della fashion Week, a vetrine dedicate a un brand , al lancio di un nuovo prodotto o a tributo di un personaggio come nel caso delle settimane scorse con la vetrina in ricordo di Karl Lagerfeld , pilastro della moda francese.

Naturalmente le più complesse installazioni sono quelle progettate in occasione delle festività natalizie , queste vetrine sono conosciute in tutto il mondo e Sam con i suoi colleghi so no responsabili di queste meravigliose creazioni che invadono anche i piani del meraviglioso grande magazzino che ospita alcuni fra i più lussuosi e importanti brand , un vero e proprio tempo della moda dove avviene un connubio meraviglioso con l arte .
Naturally the most complicated installations are that for the winter holidays , these window are known in all the world and Sam with is co-workers is responsible of this amazing creations that invade the floors of this beautyfull store that host some of the most luxurious brand of the world , a real temple of fashion where it happenes a perfect union with art .
Giungle urbane con animali dalle tinte Pop da coccodrilli a fenicotteri , macarons giganti o angeli iridescenti , ricostruzioni di studi d’artista o elementi naturali , manichini con pose articolate e abiti scelti fra i migliori sul mercato.
Installazione e moda diventano un tutt’ uno , contaminandosi armoniosamente .
Urban jungles with animal with pop paint from crocodriles to flamingos, giants macaroons o iridescent angels ,reconstructions of artist’s study or natural elements, mannequins with strangers poses and clothes between the best on marketplace.

E grazie a persone come Sam che le persone si avvicinano alla moda e ne rimangono rapite , ipnotizzate da questo senso di sorpresa , grandezza , singolarità esprimendo tramite l’ arte ciò che I designer esprimono con l’ alta moda perchè vendono sogni,vendono una sconvolgente meraviglia.
Thanks to some people like Sam that people get in touch with fashion and they remain kidnapped by that ,hypotnizdd by the sense of surprise,greatness,sincurality expressing with art what designer show with high fashion because they sell dreams,they sell an upsetting astonishment.
